In June 14, 1994 MASSEY'S BARBEQUE went in operation.

We started out in a small self-contained trailer.
It had everything that a restaurant had but smaller.

We did festivals the first year.

On weekends that we didn't do festivals we parked in the
Walmart parking lot for about 18 months and Johnson 's
grocery store by this time we had stopped doing a lot festivals.

We worked 4 days a week- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday .

We worked at that location for 18 months and then moved to
6th and Wood drive which is highway 75. We were there for 3 years.

Well we made one more move to our present location
200 N Wood Drive. This was going to be our last move.
This was in 2000 I had bought the land and we were on a 3 year
quest to turn this into one of Oklahoma Best Barbeque Restaurants.

On June 5, 2003 we opened the doors .
